Benfield DataComm (BDC) is a separate business division of Benfield Electric Supply Co, Inc. formed in 1997. BDC looks to add value to their customers through technical knowledge on products and applications that are commonly found in Telecom and Electrical construction applications.

All of Benfield DataComm's employees are constantly trained and educated on TIA and other industry standards as well as product offering in order to give customer's application solutions as well as options to help value engineer and/or address problems that arise in the buildout of customer's projects.

Benfield DataComm assists customers in project submissions, testing procedures, installation training and all phases of project management.

Additional Services Provided by BDC:

Provide demonstrations and training on fusion splicing, OLTS/Power Meter & Light Source Testing, training and troubleshooting, OTDR testing, training and troubleshooting
Assist in value engineering without altering consultant's design intent
Offer products that will reduce labor costs and support sustainability
Blueprint interpretation assistance and RFI generation for application clarification
Attend customer's client meetings when requested as Subject Matter Expert
BDC's President is approved by the MTA as a "Division 'D' Technical Expert" - allowing BDC to sign all submissions and drawings for Telecom in MTA jobs.
